VIENNA WEEK OF DIGNITY
Wednesday, 2. May 2018 – Saturday, 5. May 2018
The abstract concept of the term dignity is often exhaustedly used when it comes to value, usefulness, morality, but also reputation. What about the personal, emotional level of dignity of a refugee, a victim of rape, a handicapped toddler, but also of a convicted criminal?
SPEAKERS & PRESENTERS
The Vienna Week of Dignity will have the format of event blocks. Each day will have 3 event blocks and will take 2 hours each; consisting of a theoretical lecture by an Expert and a personal statement of an Individual with a personal story about dignity, followed up by a Discussion of those two and the Audience. Our goal is to sharpen the concept of Dignity and to put it into public perception.
