Dr. Zuzana Luckay Mihalcinova

    Mgr. Zuzana Luckay Mihalcinova, PhD. is a linguist, literary theorist, university teacher and researcher. She has been studying the concept of dignity for fourteen years. In her work she differentiates between dignity and human dignity and she is interested in the correlation between the two within the frameworks of literary theory and literary analyses, transitional justices and human rights. She is currently working on possibilities of re-presentation in a metamodern sense and post-racism within the dignity framework as part of a bigger project on worth recognition processes.

    Zsuzsa was born in Czechoslovakia and she has lived several years in South Africa, the US and various European countries. She is currently teaching at the Technical University of Kosice, Slovakia.

    She is a member of the Human Dignity and Humiliation Studies global network, HumanDHS and an editor at the non profit publisher Dignity Press.
